Adorable restaurant outside of city center. This was our first time in the area and we had to try this restaurant and we were not disappointed. My meal was the best I have had since I have been on holiday. The chef is really talented and the blend of all the flavors were superb. This restaurant does not have English menus but the waitstaff was very helpful. If I'm ever in the area again, I will definately have a return visit.

Set way off the beaten path, we were all pleased with the setting, the service, the wine, and the food.We selected items from the lunch specials / set menu for an appetizer and main dish (EUR18.50) and were very happy with our selections and preparation.
This restaurant embodies everything I love about traveling in France. A suburban restaurant with a small menu and vin bio. A restaurant aimed primarily at the community rather than a $$$ spinner aimed at tourists (sadly, we saw many of those in Strasbourg).We had dinner on a Sunday in late December. A festive Sunday menu filled with foie-laden classics. The highlight was the Lièvre a la royale façon Antonin Carême. That is, a jugged hare roll in a sauce of its own blood and innards (I'm literally salivating as I write the English description)!. As young French people say - 'une tuerie'! - an absolute killer dish. Tender, moist, meaty-savoury.A fabulous community vibe. There was an extended family of about 15 locals at a table near us. The boss (Christophe?) was handing out gifts to the children at the table. Awesome.
I would highly recommend this little tucked away restaurant. Nice mixture of indoor and outdoor seating, a pleasant mix of regional and general french cuisine on offer, with a good wine list. Ingredients are of a high quality, and even small side dishes are home made and not bought pre-cooked/ ready made.Good and courteous service, an overall positive experience, worth a trip for those who fancy a meal outside of Strasbourg or don't want to travel into town.

This was my first visit it most certainly will not be my last. The service by the owners is friendly and efficient. Every table in this small venue was full but you felt like you were the only person because of the excellent service. The decor was seasonal and beautiful. And the food, oh dear heavens, the food was absolutely delicious! Be sure to try the Mousse Cafe for dessert. Although this location takes some effort to locate; you will be greatly rewarded for your efforts.
