The indiana is by the grande plage in la ciotat has great views of bandol and coast. Its best feature IS its coolness when most of the restaurants in the port are like furnaces in August.the food is good and the selection of fish dishes especially worth a try, the chicken dishes i am told especially fine.the waiting on is friendly and in fact so elevated is the standard of the waiters one kevin drelon has become a successful model in london and paris since his departure the standard hasnt slipped.airy freindly the food is inexpensive book in time for the turquoise hour when the sea tutns the clour of opals and the moon rises over the toulon headland-magic-dont miss

I liked their bucket of mussels, its very good. They also have free entertainment (a guy on guitars singing and a drummer boy) which makes it very relaxing and entertaining.

the indiana close to the grande plage has the advantage of a tremendous view across the bay de ange towards toulon and bandol, an evening meal while the moon comes up over the headland and the sea turns colour of opals is unbeatable. being close to the beach it is also cool during the hot weeks of august unlike the oven like restaurants of the port. the food at the indiana is good value try the daurade, or luop de mer the gambas flambe sublime , the marmite de poisson is the indiana version of the local fish soups and not to be missed either , lunch is also good value , classic salad niciose and a variety of execellent bruchettas . the indiana is usually packed out so booking is advisable. another good sign is the resticted menu they dont offer to much and therefore what they do offer is well done.the greatest glory of the indiana is the staff,super efficient, they remember you from the last time and even after year nor do they muddle orders or hurry you. among this galaxy of talent two standouts marcel and kevin his english is good and adds to the overall friendly atmosphere . the coffee and house wine first rate. try coffee in the morning marcel in charge, it all lmakes you despair of the likes of costa in england if you want good food and a overall experience do not miss the indiana- rock on guys- get a website

Excellent service - very attentive and food very well cooked to order. Good beachside location but a bit off main drag so more relaxed etc. Enjoyed so much that we went twice in 3 days!

there for lunch with my family and it is so delicious. the plates were well dressed and considerable. eating was good and of good quality. I really recommend this and I took the bruschetta chèvre that was delicious. the waiters were powerful and also.
