Lunchtime, Strasbourg was busy and yet it was still possible to find a decent restaurant with good service only yards from a main tourist thoroughfare.

My visit to the restaurant was arranged by a friend who lives in Strasbourg. We dined on a Friday evening. This is a charming restaurant with lovely decor. The wine list was very good. The food, as well, was lovely (although, my veal had a bit more salt than I found appealing). The problem was the service. For our table, it was very, very slow. For the other tables on our level (the restaurant has two floors), it appeared that the service was more swift. The table for two (who were seated after us) received their starter before our order was even taken. The table for three -- seated after the table of two, received their entire meal before we received ours. Interestingly, two of my expat friends were in the restaurant at the same time (up stairs) -- they arrived minutes before we did and on Saturday we were amazed to realize they had been there, too. They raved about the wonderful service. So, it looks like the service can be hit or miss.
The restaurant is really romantic and the food was very good. It is not too expensive. I really suggest it if you want to try a different menu from the traditional one
We had a wonderful time at this place on NYE. The stuff was charming and the menu we had was amazing. Looking forward to isit again.
We had lunch there today and I had come by chance. We took the special menu and the food was truly delicious. We had butternut and cheese pies as starters and then duck with cabbage. The latter was glazed with season's spices and the meat was tender and fragranced. But service was awfully slow and we spent two hours mostly waiting for our dishes. A pity as otherwise we would have rated the place higher..
This is a smart and elegant little restaurant in the heart of the Petite France district. The fixed menu with matching wines is very good value and each dish was modern without being pretentious. Great flavours of the Alsace. Service was friendly, quick and professional. A lovely meal.
Discovered by chance and returned again - unusual for us. Had the set 20 euro set 3 course lunch (different each day). Wonderfully presented and great cooking. Truly recommend
We happened upon this restaurant by chance and were very happy with our choice. The food was excellent and very well prepared, with a clear sense of a quality chef at work. Service was friendly and very capable - we were delighted with the meal and the evening.
