We came to this restaurant close to closing time for lunch. We ordered a bottle of wine from a good wine selection. Our food was served promptly and even though we were the last ones in there, we were never rushed or asked to leave. The food was quite good and the staff were very friendly. We have eaten at this restaurant on each of our trips to Paris and we really enjoyed it. Food is good and location across from the Chateau is quite nice.

Our family ended up here on Thanksgiving -- it was a random selection based on location and appearance. What a find! While the restaurant made no effort to provide any American Thanksgiving fare (why would it?), we enjoyed excellent duck, salmon, snails, and desserts. It was a great meal, and we lingered beyond the 3:00 closing time at lunch. Yet we were never rushed -- the service was consistently friendly and helpful, and they spoke English when it was necessary. (It was necessary a few times!) We were pleased with the value of this great meal, particularly the kids' options.

We loved this restaurant. Delicious food and nice atmosphere. We are returning to Vincennes in September and plan to eat here again... hopefully with a little more French under my belt!

We were here for lunch last month. The service was quite fast and efficient. The food was good and it is not too expensive. We ordered 3 different entree, plats and some wine. It was around 35 euros. It is very close to the chateau de vincennes.

My wifeand I hadalovely evening meal at this restaurant. We went for the set evenining menu which had a choice of 4 starters, 4 mains and 4 deserts and a half litre of wine each for about 30 euro. Excellent value and excellent food. It is a nice quiet restaurant with very pleasant and helpfull staff. If you are in this area it isdefinately worth a visit

We had a lunch here with are business group of 14 and the food and the service were very nice. The courses came very fast so we did not lose to much time. Also the wine was good. The view of the castle is nice.

We went to this restaurant following a recommendation from a friend. We went on a Saturday night around 19.00 without a reservation. The Maitre said they could fit us in and we were directed to a table, ok so far!. We were the only diners and the next clients came in around 20.30 so there was no atmosphere - probably our mistake. We opted for the €31 per person pris fixee menu. Starters were Vischoisse Soup and egg mayonnaise with beetroot - both passable but u exciting. We both ordered Lamb as a main course ( normally we order different dishes but the choice was very limited so lamb all round). The main course was hugely disappointing, we got a lump of lamb with an accompaniment of mushrooms. I like mushrooms, but not a half plate of them. No salad, rice or potatoes. It looked un inviting and it was.Desert was ordinary, the only redemption was a palatable bottle of the house red wine.Service was indifferent.Normally we find that we get good food and value on prix fixee menus, but not tonight.
