We had drinks here while sitting outside in the sunshine on several occasions during our visit to Nice. Lovely, friendly waitress served us quickly every time. Drinks were ice cold and our only regret is we never got round to trying the food as the restaurant looked very nice and always had people,including locals eating which is always a good sign of the quality. Merci beaucoup.

On our last day 13th June before we flew back to Edinburgh we had lunch at the restaurant next to Hotel Massena. We had been there before on a previous trip to Nice. The food and the service were excellent and a 3 course meal with drinks for 4 was great. Large variety of choices and Sweet choice all magnificent. This restaurant is recommended by the Hotel Massena and it is easy to see why. not to be missed. Stuart Bruce Lasswade

While wandering around the streets of Nice,my wife and I were not really hungry , but hey.. where in Nice, let's have some wine and s bite to eat.We called into Le Giofreeddo , which we were just passing by, looked nice , not crazily busy , as it was way past lunch ,and had a great meal , I had the salmon linguini and my wife had the tuna .Both meals were delicious , ridiculously reasonably priced , topped of with a bottle of Sancerre , what a great way to spend an afternoon.These are the sort of small restaurants that we look for,it was great! There were also a large contingent of locals in the restaurant ,which tends to suggest to us a high level of consistency of quality

Well placed restaurant near the Hotel Massena. Varied menu, plenty of moules. They provide room service to the Hotel Massena. It is also good for light lunches. yhry operate continuous service from am to pm

This little cafe provides the quintessential old French cafe drink setting. They have a small number of outdoor tables where there is prompt service. Given that it is not on a main road (so no view) the prices are very reasonable for drinks. When they are served, the cafe provides small bites, which is a nice touch. We have been a couple of times this trip and service is always very good.

We used this to refuel at lunchtime. Friendly helpful staff who put up with our poorly pronounced French with good food at reasonable prices.
