Four of us had dinner last Saturday evening following by great entertainment. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food was really enjoyable, wine was priced well. The band, Gig Street, New Orleans Jazz, started at 9 pm and were still playing when we left after 11. They have different band each Saturday evening over the summer.

Me and my family had read lots of brilliant reviews and as we were staying in Saint Remy we had to go. The food was excellent and I recommend the chocolate fondant to have as a desert it was delicious! The staff were lovely! We sat on the terrace at the back of the restaurant and were expecting to see loads of midgies but didn't see one. A massive free car park and yes the food and drink was a bit more than other places but the quality was so much better! Definitely go!!!

We booked to watch the Tour de France go by and had a great table in the shade and just off the pavement. Service was super friendly and food was good without being special or great, but that is what you expect in a village Bistrot that has to serve all tastes and pockets. Value for money is good and the limited wine list is excellent and not overpriced. They have live music on some evenings and this has been good in the past.We had a great day and the staff are generous and fun.

We had a fabulous meal out on the back terrace of this charming bistro. The food was fantastic. My husband had a fresh vegetable and seafood dish and I had the best duck I've ever had in my life. The menu is simple, fresh, and exactly the type of French cooking we were hoping to have on our trip to Provence. Not fussy, but perfectly executed food in a casual atmosphere. It is just a very short, 5 minute drive from the center of Saint Remy. It's worth the visit!

We ate at this restaurant because we kept driving by on our way to see the sites around St. Remy. I ordered the magret of duck with honey sauce. It was a huge portion and tender. The sauce was sweet with honey and had lots of nuts. It was delicious for me. There were other choices of sauce or natural if you did not like sweetness. My daughter had a hamburger that was also large and delicious. I was full so had lavender ice cream for dessert. My husband had an apple tart. Everything was good and the prices were reasonable. I would highly recommend this bistrot.

Perhaps because it was an unexpected find I loved this restaurant and the food better than almost any others on our trip. We were lost, again, we had passed this place so when we turned around we just decided to stop. The weather was beautiful so we ate outside. The owner did not speak English but by hand motions and pointing we chose our meals. (A buzzing sound does not mean mosquito in France.) We had really nice house red wine and my meal was a grained bread with goat cheese, prosciutto and honey, a little apple compote on the side and a nice salad. It was heaven. This restaurant is not in St. Remy but somewhat close, more in the countryside down one f those plane tree lined roads.

St-Rémy is delightful and full of good restaurants. But if they are all crowded and parking looks impossible, take the road for Cavaillon and Le Bistrot de la Galine is on your left. There is plenty of parking and space inside and out.If the plat du jour sells out, they have substitutes. The restaurant is busy but service is quick.
