We had a very nice experience here. Of especial note is the excellent service, the presentation of the food and the wine list. The latter is excellent with a good range of well priced Burgundy wines in addition to the local wines.The food was good rather than superb but overall it was quite good value.We will return next time we are in the area.

This place is in a spectacular setting and the actual restaurant was indeed lovely. I went with great expectation and recommendation. The violet champagne aperitif was divine as was the melon amuse bouche. We chose the 50€ menu and began with scallops, they came with a chicory and grapefruit salad, beautifully presented and interesting to eat, but I wouldn't say delicious. My tornadoes with béarnaise sauce was lovely but came with two small potatoes and a piece of courgette under seasoned with strange creamy stuff in it. The cheese course was incredible, what an amazing array of fab cheeses with the waiter/proprietor, very happy to describe them! A trio of desserts arrived next, which were very pretty but quite frankly not worth the calories. I am not an ignorant English punter not able to appreciate fine food, cooking is a great passion of mine, so, as I said 'all that glitters is not gold'.

Great food and wine in a small village. This was a wonderful surprise, a top wack restaurant just 15 minutes from our house. If you go there: don't miss the cheese trolley, there's just about everything on it. We will be back. Peter
An excellent meal, thoughtful and well presented menu, good value and good service as ever. The game terrine was exceptionally good.
This was our best meal this year. We had just the half board menu but every course was stunning. We read later that the chef tries to combine sea and country, the Mediterranean Plate starter summarised this, local vegetables, grilled local peppers with mussels cooked like escargot, truly delicious. Staff very friendly even though we were 2 hours later than expected arriving near 9 pm, due to a late flight and horrendous Toulouse traffic, they made us welcome and made sure dinner was great. Room and breakfast both good. Hope to come back and stay longer to enjoy the walks from the hotel.
A long and winding road that will take you pass Puillarence castle and some breathtaking views. Great food and wine. The cheese cart was something to remember for the rest of my life. Professional staff and a lovely house together with great company made it a memorable evening.
We were investigating the Chateaux near Carcassonne and had an overnight stop with dinner. The staff were charming, the hotel exterior beautiful, the room beautiful with recently refurbished en suite that was fantastic, and a great meal.
